Workshop Description:
Why do some people get overwhelmed in intimate relationships? Why do others retreat from intimacy? This workshop introduces one of the most important psychological ideas of recent years: attachment theory. We explore why the pioneering work of John Bowlby on attachment matters to all of us - in our friendships; our romantic relationships; in our roles as parents and even at work. We look at what helps us to change our insecure attachment styles.
